Cecelia was a graduate of Marymount College in Tarrytown. She was a fifth-grade teacher and later attended Millersburg University to obtain her art certification. She became an elementary art instructor for the West Shore School District in Pennsylvania and for the last five years of her tenure she was the head of their art department. Cecelia loved teaching art and working with other teachers.
In her retirement, Cecelia was a local artist and a member of the Susquehanna Valley Plein Aire Painters. She enjoyed her time painting with other artists. She valued the many years of laughter and sharing life with her oldest friends. Most of all, she loved her family; her husband, children, grandchildren and parents. She is so sad to leave them and this earth. She prays God will forgive her sins and faults and will receive her upon her death.
